Junior Alchemist

Genre: Casual, Adventure, Upgrades

Core Concept: Collect potions to power up or heal your hero

Main Objective: Keep the hero alive long enough to defeat all the slimes in each round

Gameplay: Step into the shoes of a Junior Alchemist assigned to protect a young, red-headed archer on her first quest. Roam around a safe area to gather potions, each with its own potential to heal or enhance the hero. Strategically decide which potions to use to ensure the hero can withstand waves of slimes and emerge victorious.

PATCH 18/7/24:
- Play testers discovered a bug, where by people using cheats could never leave dream mode. This has been fixed.
- Balance changes made to slime spawn rates and player move speed.

- Added auto collect mode for 150 coins.

nice game, if you are gonna ever update the game can you add auto collect into the shop, even if is expensive. My wrist hurts a bit from going round and collecting potions.

Thanks for playing. That's a pretty good idea. It would need to be a late game item, but could be fun... 

So it only took a couple of hours to implement. I've now added this to the game. Thanks for the idea :)

I think the udate messed up with code so that there are no potions spawning after season 1.

Turns out my change triggered an error that caused the potion spawn timer to go wild... Instead of spawning every 5 seconds, it was trying to spawn every 5 hours...

If I'd had a bit more time to develop the game before submitting it to the game jam, I'd have put a better tutorial in for the controls. But that's something I can work on in the future if I choose to develop the game further.
